Antique 20S 21 Lignes Ornate Gilt Pocket Watch Movement 1870 Mystery AS IS

  

This is an antique pocket watch movement about which I know very little. It is quite beautiful and very ornate. It does not run and is missing the balance cock screw.

It measures about 47.2mm below the dial plate. It is key wind and key set. The case is in nice condition and measure about 38.5mm across sans the crown. I think this is a 15 ligne watch. Please note that all pictures are taken on the macro setting.

This makes even the slightest imperfections and specks of dust appear much more prominent though they are often not visible without magnification.
