Illinois Bunn Special Pocket Watch 18s 21j Stunning Clean Movement

  

This Bunn Special Bright Spotted variant movement exceptionally clean example, dating from the year 1907. This is the cleanest movement I can recall seeing for a long while. I see no tool marks. Features a double-sunk Gothic dial which has some imperfections and repairs as shown.

Exceptionally nice flame-blued spade hands, a clear crystal, and a rolled gold plate case with no brassing that I could find. Covers are screw on and off well. The movement of this watch is the 21 Jewel, full plate, 18 size original Bunn Special, with swan-neck microregulator for precision timing adjustment, and screw-set gold jewel settings. An excellent all around example from this era.
