Here's something you don't see every day. I bought this Minute Repeater movement several years ago with the grand plan of refurbishing and putting it in a display case of some sort. I always wanted a repeater just to see how they work and enjoy the sound. Sadly the project won't happen in my lifetime.

I started to make some stainless steel raw case parts (which you can have if you want), but that's as far as I got. As you can see it needs plenty of love from someone with more time and expertise than I have. The balance runs, but at very low amplitude.

The repeater function works, as does the chronograph. Everything is old and dirty. I've no idea who made it, there are no markings at all. A functional design but lacking the finesse of some high end manufacutures. There is no "all or nothing" function.

Pretty certain it's not a Patek! The dial has some hairline cracks, The blued hands (Hour, Minute, Chrono seconds) show their age, and the running second hand is missing. The movement OD is 46.5mm, the Dial 48.25mm, thickness 13mm.

You can see from the pictures this is quite a project, but for the right guy it's perfect. There are a few additional parts from the original rose gold? Case which I will of course include. I don't think I've held back anything from the description. The item "Minute Repeater Chronograph Movement" is in sale since Friday, April 06, 2018.
