Small rare QUARTER repeater Case dia: 37.7 mm (not including slider and crown/ring) Movement dia: approx. Nsn Movement probably manufactured by Audemars Piguet or Louis Audemars - at least it is quite reminiscenting the styles the mentioned companies used for the English market.

Watch runs fine, basic overhaul recommended. One visible scratch on movement's plate. Repeater strikes fine, chimes loud for its size and pleasantly clear. Hammers-and-gong make not just a decorative squeaky sound like most of contemporary repeaters but the one that distinctly audible from the pocket, featuring a full tone. Fine original dial/hands - no signs of either imperfections. Unpolished case has decent exterior - no visible flaws - condition in accordance with item's age. The coat of arms is authentic, of a Scottish ancestry, placed on the case at the time the watch produced (no latter than early 1900s).
