This watch movement is a large 43mm in Diameter. This is a very high grade free sprung chronometer quality movement from one of the best UK watch makers of the 1800's!

The watch movement is marked Barraud & Lunds and is from the third series of serial numbers with serial number 3/4731. The balance on this piece is amazing quality with very large solid gold screws which shows the chronometer quality of this piece. This piece is a more advanced stem wound piece with pin setting and is to suit a demi hunter case.

The dial and hands are all theire and the dial is in mint condition. The great thing about this piece is that it is running!

I have wound it a little and it runs and the hands do set well. Barraud and Lunds were one of the best makers of watches, chronometers and clocks in the UK and to have a piece like this is a true gem in your collection. The watch is stem wound and the hands are pin set. This is a piece made by one of the best watchmakers in the UK.
