Pocket watch movement circa 1720. Signed James Markwick London No. Silver balance cock with glazed (cracked) table. Emerald set in gold setting in centre of table I had this jewel checked about 16 years ago at Parry's in Malvern and they assured me that it was an emerald. The top plate is engraved under the table. Lovely pierced fusee stop iron hinge. No dial or motion work. James Markwick was Master of the Clockmaker's Company in 1720.
