E. Howard N Size Series II Keywind Pocket watch Movement #2732 RARE & RUNS

  

This is a seldom offered and truly rare item. Howard watch movement (Circa 1860). It is N size, key wind and set form the back, 15 jewels, Serial #2732. The movement is in beautiful original condition. Nice plates, not recently cleaned, and no signs of abuse.

It runs, but is a little sluggish, so it is probably not a reliable timekeeper. The porcelain dial is really nice.

It has a surface scratch that I do not think is a hairline, but I guess it could be. Matching blued steel Trident hands. If you are reading this then you already know how rare this is, and that there were even less of this series II model produced than there were series I models!! The movement is in an incorrect open face case.

The inner case back lid has been drilled for keywind holes. I will not accept much lower.
