The diameter of the watch is 48 millimeters not including the crown, 54 millimeters from lug to lug, and 15 millimeters thick. Original refurbished porcelain dial with Arabic numerals is signed HOWARD is in mint condition. Stem wind / pin set (Once the pin was pushed in, the crown could be turned to set the time) nickel stripe decorated movement is beautifully signed. Boston USA - Series 2 - 1123320. Serial number dates this movement to the year of 1912. The movement has compensating balance wheel with gold screws, Breguet overcoil balance spring.

The watch comes with a new 22 mm black leather strap. Watch is serviced and oiled and keeping great time. Has always been considered one of the finest of fine American pocket watch makers.
