Fine Quality English Fusee Cylinder Repeater Pocket Watch Movement Ticking (R68). Please see photographs for condition and size. High quality movement retailed by Edward Prior in London (famous for Turkish market exports). It winds up ok and ticks away a little. Sometimes it stops after a few seconds but more recently has just started ticking again by itself for the last hour so varies. The repeating mechanism is activated via a push. The small piece you see is loose and I tested the mechanism once without that piece present, the mechanism did its thing but the gongs did not move. This may have been due to the absence of this loose piece. I did not want to try it again just in case as this probably hasn't been serviced in many years.

Probably dates to around the early 1800s. Note the amazing nice sized diamond endstone!
