A highly jewelled for the period, pocket watch movement probably originating from Coventry but retailed in Belfast. Dial is solid gold and stamped TS Batting on the reverse, Thomas Batting was a renound dial maker of the period and produced high quality pieces with work in the V&A. The dial is damaged but I have seen far worse and it could be repaired.

It is also a good size to be used on a wristwatch if that is your thing. The movement has a good balance that swings freely, it ticks a few times when shaken.
