Jules Emmery Two-Train Flying Quarter Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch Movement. Please see photographs for condition. The pictures form an important part of the description. Unsure of original maker of this piece, but some signs point to a Louis Audemars movement. Jules Emmery did use movements by Audemars so it is likely but not confirmed. The movement is working, it winds and ticks away happily, both trains working fine. There are a few issues to report. 1 One sweep seconds hand has a snapped off end piece so it is just the bottom piece remaining (this is the very last hand on the movement). 2 The lever used to stop and activate the seconds has a crack in the loop that would ordinarily be held on by the screw and will need repair. 3 Original sub second hand needs some work - the hand has some blue tack stuck in the pipe (it was affixed to some blue tack in a container) - I do not have the precision tools required to remove the blue tack from the pipe!

It has been running now for 2 hours and has kept time well during this period to within 1 minute. The stem is a 2-piece stem and winds the watch fine without issues, you can set the time by pulling the lever out and rotating the crown. The high quality snap on dial has no cracks or chips. It has a few surface scratches but nothing major.

Winds in the 12 O Clock position, high grade movement, well finished and incredibly hard to come by. Expensive in its day and used by the elite of the time to aid in precision time keeping. The additional pictured parts all came with it.
