Ornate Antique Swiss 800 Silver Open Face Ladies Pocket Watch Engraved Movement. This stunning pocket watch was hand made in Switzerland around 1900 and features a beautiful ornate partially gilt 800 Silver case with white and yellow hand painted dial, Roman numerals and Arabic minute markers, and ornate gold hands. Beautifully engraved all over with floral designs. The movement is also masterfully embellished with intricate engravings. The piece is in very good antique condition, winds up and works nicely.

No damage to dial or glass. Some scratches from opening the watch and normal wear according to age.

This beautiful piece measures 1 3/8 in diameter (case only) and weighs. An impressive 28.8 grams. Numbered, hallmarked and stamped with a makers mark inside the outer case lid which is silver. The inner case lid is metal and is engraved with the serial number. Also carrying Austrian silver import hallmarks on the base of the crown.
