Pocket Watch Swiss Movement & Case Silver 0.935 Three Bears c. Couldn't find this open face Swiss watch in our usual search, probably because it was not made by an American company. The dial and movement are unmarked. The case says, "FAUVETTE HAD" and "ARGENT DORE" and "SWISS" and (silver) "0,935" and has the stamped hallmark of three bears (a smaller one above two bigger ones). It also has the serial number of "7977" and a separate 7.
The watch size is not obvious to us. The back of the case might have what is considered an enamel finish, which gold tone fleur-de-lis designs on a background that resembles mother-of-pearl. This watch comes with a short chain and fob. From the estate of our Uncle Paul, born in 1927, who collected all kinds of things in Denver, Colorado, from the mid-1950s until his untimely death in the mid-1980s. It's going to take us a LONG time to liquidate the estate, so we invite you to keep watching for our listings.
