Quarter Repeater Chronograph Full Calendar Pocket Watch Movement Running

  

In the coming weeks I will be listing a small collection of top quality movements and pocket watches - retired watchmaker's stock. Original old movements are the only source of quality obsolete spare parts for projects otherwise impossible to finish.. For your consideration is this high quality quarter repeater chronograph pocket watch movement having a full calendar and moon phase dial.

The case was scrapped for gold very long time ago - see the patina developed on the movement plates since. The enamel dial is perfect, no chips or hairlines, only an old stain that will clean up easily. Each gong has double coils - a feature not so common - they are long and sound good, see the VIDEO.

It is running, repeating, and is almost complete, missing the winder, the minute wheel and the day, date & moon phase discs. Please study the photos carefully as they are part of the description and will give you a better idea about the condition - judge it yourself if it is a project suitable for you. Diameter is 49.31mm, thickness is 13.60mm (dial to chronograph wheel bridge, excluding the height of the hands). I will do my best to answer quickly to your questions.
