This wristwatch has been converted from a pocket watch, circa 1930. The movement was very popular and reliable and Rolex allowed a select few watchmakers to use components. The back case opens up to reveal the Swiss mechanism.

It is much slimmer than most pocket watches, well ahead of its time. It features a brown genuine leather band with a one off strap.

Gold case, and keeps great time. The face is white with rare compass styling.

Domed mineral glass is scratch free. Diameter (with crown): 53.00 mm. Diameter (without crown): 48.00 mm. Please note that watch is perfectly regulated, but movement can be imbalanced by extreme temperatures during the flight. Sharp temperature drop during the flight can cause the oil viscosity and as a result, it may be necessary to be oiled when it arrives regardless of its recent servicing.

Vintage watches cannot keep time like their quartz cousins and will need altering on average between +-2 to +-5 min per day.
