Rare! A Lange & Sohne 44mm pocket watch movement. Runs! Missing Regulator

  

A Lange & Sohne " Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation Glashutte" 44mm pocket watch movement. This movement has been running for over an hour now but I have not tested it for accuracy or length of time. The regulator is missing and there is no crown or stem. The movement looks pretty nice with a few flaws as shown in the photos.

The dial is unmarked and in good overall condition. The blue steel hands look with minimal blue loss. I did notice that one tiny pin wedge is missing to hold the dial on correctly. The other one is there. It is under the balance arm and should be a easy fix.

The balance seemed to run a bit slower movement face up, but it still had a steady motion. The balance staff seems ok, but no guarantees. I'm not sure how many Jewels this movement has. I think it was made between 1885 and 1890 according to the serial # 23188. Look very closely at the photos as they are part of the description.
