There are a number of problems, the balance is broken with a snapped pivot, the other is bent. The pallet is loose with broken pivots also. The dial has some damage to it. Hairspring is detached from balance cock. As fusee movements go, this one is pretty special.
It is by WW Chalfont who looking back in the archives of the HJ appeared to be a bit of an experimentor. At a guess, I would possibly say this could be unique, or very few have survived at least.
The fusee chain is in tact and attached, I have not attempted winding in case of damaging the movement which is dirty. A rare piece and wonderful project for the collector of harder to find movements.
