Tiny Verge Fusee Pocket Watch Movement - 18.65mm - Runs, Circa 1800 (BM4). Please see photographs for condition - the pictures form an important part of the description. A fine example of an incredibly small Verge pocket watch movement, dating from approx. The reverse side of the movement measures only 18.65mm wich a dial 20.45mm in size. (The penny is 20.4mm).

Almost certainly from an antique pendant. I wound the movement slightly and it did run for 5 minutes undisturbed. It does stop and start occasionally and likely has not been serviced in some time. Some damage to the original dial but dial and hands both in good shape considering age of the piece.

Uses a size 1 key to wind, only one of my keys fit which is a really old one which is not for sale, so you may have to find a key with quite a thin diameter to fit the hole.
