Working Quality Rack Lever Fusee Pocket Watch Movement. J Gate Preston. Antique
A very clean and complete Fusee pocket watch movement with Rack Lever Escapement by John Gate of Preston. It has what looks like a 30 tooth escape wheel and a solid steel balance with a diamond end stone in the bridge. It is running with a good healthy balance action for the full length of the fusee chain. As you can see it has a good undamaged and nicely marked off ceramic dial with nice Fleur-De-Lis hands.
